Things to Do in Oklahoma City

The largest city in the state, Oklahoma City is located at the crossroads of I-35, I-40 and I-44 in the heart of Oklahoma. A wide array of entertainment includes vibrant nightlife in Bricktown, relaxation along the beautiful Oklahoma River in the Boathouse District and top-notch art exhibitions in the Paseo District. The popular National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and Stockyards District pay tribute to America’s western roots, while The Myriad Botanical Gardens offers visitors rare and breathtaking botany. Home to the Thunder NBA basketball, Oklahoma City Dodgers Triple-A baseball and the OKC Energy FC soccer teams, Oklahoma City keeps sports fans entertained year-round. The reflecting pool and empty glass and bronze chairs of the Oklahoma City National Memorial recall the victims of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The city is also the proud home of Devon Energy, Chesapeake Energy, Continental Resources, SandRidge Energy, and OGE Energy, leaders in the US energy industry.
