Conference Excursion

On Wednesday afternoon, there will be an excursion to Oklahoma City (a 30 minute drive from the conference site) to visit two museums: one that celebrates Native Americans (https://famok.org/ ) and another that celebrates cowboys (https://nationalcowboymuseum.org/ ). First Americans Museum shares the cultural diversity, history, and contributions of the First Americans. Visitors experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today. The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum collects, preserves and exhibits an internationally renowned collection of Western art and artifacts while sponsoring dynamic educational programs to stimulate interest in the enduring legacy of the American West.

Registration Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you cannot attend MIOMD XVI 2023 you must contact AVS at 530-896-0477, heather@avs.org by July 14, 2023, to receive a refund, less a $100.00 processing fee.  No refunds can be given for cancellations after July 14, 2023.
